Nach dem Abitur Studium an der Musikhochschule Köln bei Rainer Brüninghaus und John Taylor
1993-1996 Training in Orgodynamik, eine Neoreichianische Therapieform
1997 Abschluß des Studiums mit Auszeichnung, es folgte das Aufbaustudium “Konzertexamen”.
1999 New York Aufenthalt
2000 Abschluß des Konzertexamens
Arbeitete während und nach dem Studium unter anderen mit: Lee Konitz,
Adam Nussbaum, Ack van Royen, John Goldsby, Mark Murphy, und last but not least mit Bruder Jochen.
2001-2006 Veröffentlichung von drei Trio CDs, zuletzt die CD "Blue in Green" erschienen bei Pirouet (www.pirouet.de)

After school (Abitur) started studying jazzpiano at the Hochschule für Musik in cologne first with Rainer Brüninghaus then most of the time with John Taylor
1993- 1996 Training in Orgodynamik (Neo-Reichianic Therapy)
During studying working with own Trios and playing gigs at the Leverkusener Jazzfestival, WDR TVfestival „Round Midnight“, Broadcastings from Kölner Stadtgarten, also as a Sideman playing Gigs in Europe.
1997 making examination at the Hochschule cum laude then continuing the studying in the masterclass
Autumn and Winter1999 being in NYC as a freelance Musician.
February 2000 Konzertexamen (examination of the masterclass)
2001 recording the first trio CD „Debut“
2004 recording and releasing the new trio CD „Dust of doubt“
working with Lee Konitz, Adam Nußbaum, Ack van Royen, John Goldsby and many more
2006 recording and releasing the 3rd Trio CD „Blue in Green" at Pirouetrecords (www.pirouet.de)
